Soft Watch Exploding - Ring
Inspired by the work "Soft Watch Exploding in 888 Particles after Twenty Years of Total Immobility" painted by Salvador Dalí in 1954, around two decades after his work Persistence of Memory, where he depicted for the first time the Soft Watches.
At this stage, due to the influence of the explosion of the atomic bomb, Dalí declares himself a "nuclear mystic painter" and his unstoppable curiosity is focused on nuclear physics, being reflected in his artworks as in these now solid clocks, exploding, disintegrating.
We have captured the fascinating Dalí's world with dreamlike atmosphere, in these soft clocks that no longer fall apart but shatter, are transformed into subatomic particles that go beyond the laws of space-time.
